INTELLIGENT WIRELESS COMMUNICATION

Intelligent Wireless Communication (i-Wic) Laboratory was initiated in 2021. It is a research group in the Institute of Communications Engineering at National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The lab mainly focuses on research related to future wireless communications such as beyond 5G and 6G communications and aims to make exceptional contributions towards the research and development in the field of advanced wireless communications for both academic and industrial purpose.

The recent technical advancement in wireless networks has inflated the demand for uninterrupted and ubiquitous communication which can be achieved by beyond 5G and 6G wireless technology. These communication models comes with unique challenges and requirements for each different area of research. Thus, i-WiC lab intends to research on different aspects of wireless communications.

At present, the research team consists of masters students, PhD scholars and Post-Doc researchers whose research works focuses on beyond 5G/6G communication, next generation multiple access, UAV assisted wireless communications, RIS assisted V2V and V2I communication, artificial intelligence and machine learning for wireless communication.
